Ela \u00e9 regulada pelo ciclo claro\/escuro. Dessa forma, quando escurece, a pineal \u00e9 &#8220;ativada&#8221; e come\u00e7a a produzir melatonina, que \u00e9 liberada no sangue e induz o indiv\u00edduo ao sono.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por isso \u00e9 importante n\u00e3o utilizar muita ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o ou aparelhos eletr\u00f4nicos (celular, tablet, televis\u00e3o, etc) \u00e0 noite, pois estes inibem a produ\u00e7\u00e3o da melatonina (Scholtens et al, 2016)!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">melatonina tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 encontrada em muitos alimentos. Em estudo recente e in\u00e9dito da UNIFESP, investigou-se a influ\u00eancia de alimentos como fontes naturais de melatonina. Os resultados mostraram que o consumo destes alimentos tem o potencial de aumentar as concentra\u00e7\u00f5es de melatonina e melhorar a qualidade do sono.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assim, a ingest\u00e3o di\u00e1ria de alimentos fonte deste neuro-horm\u00f4nio pode ser utilizada como terapia alternativa e natural para a preven\u00e7\u00e3o e tratamento de dist\u00farbios do sono (Pereira et al, 2020).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c4ab87 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\"
